Title: How do I remove the steel rods from a JaQues foosball table?
Post by: tranmere_paul on December 14, 2012, 01:47:45 PM
I am trying to refurbish a JaQues football table and would really like some help please. I bought the table after two years of hunting but it needs some TLC.  The whole reason I wanted a JaQes is because my Grandad always told stories of the escape kit his friends had during WWII and i like the idea of having a historical piece to pass on stories to my son.

My problem is i don't know how to take out the steel rods (the rods with the players on) to get the bottom glass (45 x 25 inches) up to replace the cardboard that sits beneath that glass (the pitch).  The pitch has had drink spillt on it and is torn and stained.  I wold like to replace it with one that actually says JaQues rather than another easy to make piece.

Could you please advise how i can get to the pitch and how i can get a replacement.  I have pictures but can't seem to attach them but i can email them direct to you.

Thanks so much in advance for any help you can offer...
