Ouch, caps lock makes it sound like you're yelling.   ;)
If you click on the link Daniel posted, it has all the brackets from worlds--find a player's name and click on it to see how they did.

John Snow and Tommy Adkisson won 1 match in the Winner's Bracket, then lost, then won 1 in the loser's bracket, then lost to finish tied for 49-64th in Open Doubles (128-team bracket).
John played with Lee Thompson in pro doubles, 2 and out for 25th-32nd (32-team bracket).
And he played with Sebastian Jellison, won one and lost one in 35+/17- doubles.

All of those losses were to excellent players having good weekends.
Dave Gummeson (35+/17-) is a top pro-master, one of the top 10 players in the world.
Kevin Walker (Pro Doubles) is a semipro playing like a good pro who finished 5th in Championship doubles and 3rd in semipro singles.
Steve Steighner (Open Doubles) is a top semipro about to turn pro who won semipro singles and got 5th in semipro doubles.
