Try the game of "Cut Throat!"

"Cut throat" is a game for 3 players....
= You start with one person on one side (singles team) and 2 on the other side (the doubles team)!

= Singles player starts with first serve!

= If doubles team scores a goal... NO POINTS ARE AWARDED and all player rotate counter clockwise!  You end up with player that was doubles team forward now playing singles!  The guy that was singles is now goalie on the doubles team!   Doubles team scored last, so singles team get's the serve!

= If person on singles side scores a goal they get 1 point!  YOU DON'T ROTATE... Singles team score last so doubles team get's the serve!  (don't use the score keepers, write down each of the 3 players names on a piece of paper or white board and track their points there!)

= 1st player to 5 points wins!

We play a variation of this where it is handicapped. It is easy to do that... one guy plays to 8, the second guy plays to 5, the third guy plays to 3. Or pick whatever numbers to play to that are appropriate. Also we play that singles player always serves, even after scoring.

We play this way but do not just rotate clockwise or counter clockwise. Say person C is the weakest 3-bar/5-bar player of players A, B, and C. If the rotation starts with A-single, B-double-offense, C-double-defense doing simple directional rotation will always have the weakest 3-bar/5-bar player trying to get player B out. This is an advantage for player A.

In our rotation we have to remember the order of who gets to play on the singles side. But when the singles side player gets out that person switches with whoever is up next in rotation. Say for example the person up next is on the doubles 3-bar/5-bar. The singles side player goes to the doubles 3-bar/5-bar spot and the doubles goalie stays put. If you walk through a few rotations of this you can see that it mixes up the match-up. Eventually everyone plays both 3-bar/5-bar and goalie on the doubles side against both of the other plays on the singles side.

We also don't stop with the first one to reach 5. We stop after a full rotation of the players to play on the single side after someone reaches 5.
