Is this Tornado Coin-op worth the initial bidding of $479 on ebay

Hello everyone, I am new to the site and have been reading your post with great interest. After reading the post “What table should I buy”, I have decided on a used Tornado Coin-op. Does anyone think that the attached table is worth the starting bid on ebay of $479. Also what kind of table is it (ie, T2000??). Thank you in advance.

Hi RF8,
Looks like a T2000. Check out this link if you haven't already.

Not if you end up paying 479 and its in good shape with nothing needed to be replaced. Thats just my opinion, others here have way more knowledge than I do and may weigh in differently. In my area I see these tables going from 250 - 550 depending on condition and owner attachment <= range(get it  #@$% out of here ... tears that its leaving).

Looks in nice shape but you do realize you just raised visibility to a good table to a bunch of guys looking for the same thing you are. DOH! No worries from me, I got mine ;)

$479 is not a bad price if the table is in pristine shape, but I wouldn't go any higher.  That said, I would not bid on this table without seeing it in person first. Bent rods, etc. can be expensive fixes and although the seller says it is in "great condition" that description is too vague.
