Brown marble coin-op question
« on: September 16, 2014, 02:24:33 PM »
I just purchased a '94 coin op table.
1. Are the diamond ramp assy on the T-3000 and exchangeable part for the old brown marble coin-op?
2. Can the ball return be fixed so you dont have to reach all the way in if not using the coin-op mechanism?

1- Like it or not, I suspect they are identical...there is no other part sheet for old or new coin... visually the t3000 coin looks identical to my brown... this said there is no better way to tell than to contact tornado with your model number and ask...

2- Due to the factory diamond ramps and chases gathering the balls low on the left, the mdf would need to be reworked to provide an even lower exit for the ball.

Recently, A fellow on this website created the ultimate replacement ramp system that feeds the balls forward very nicely:

Inspired by john in nc, I created 2simple inserts that are drop in replacements for the ready ramp.   You still need to reach in but it solves some issues I had with using the ramp.
