Topic: restoring old table

Hi, I was given an older Imperial Butcher block Table all is good except the playfield was warped. I know this table is not great but it is the same model that I had back in the 90's, yes sentimental. So I was looking at a replacing the playfield and have started that process. I am going to use 1/2 inch MDF, a printed out playfield then a lighted sanded plexiglass top. Seen this design online and sounds good. I already had the wood so it is just the plexiglass that I need to purchase.

But I am also in the process of looking for another table, like a Tornado or other higher end table that is used. Then maybe sell the imperial for cheap.

Please let me know thoughts on plexiglass plan and anything else. I am partial to single goalie as again thats what we played way back in the 80's and 90's
