problem with foosball table
« on: December 13, 2017, 11:30:00 AM »
Hi, im from Argentina and I finally found a foosball forum. sorry for my bad english.
I hope you can help me

I bought this foosball           https://goo.gl/nZyd6Z
and it came with this ball     https://goo.gl/78SqKm
and these players                https://goo.gl/oAV2et

I would have liked to buy a tornado foosball , but in argentine only come Hathaway 56-Inch Primo   https://goo.gl/rGhyQc

the problem is that the ball slides from the legs of the players, it is impossible to have control of the ball.
so I do not know if it's a problem, the playfield, the ball or the players
what I see, the floor seems laminated and I do not know if it's the same as the rest of the foosball tables

thanks for your support.
Cristian

Imo on that table you'd be better using european 'yellow' balls like on bonzini or smth. They're known for their 'stickiness' - exactly what you need.

freemanfl Thank you very much for your answer!!!

I was afraid it was the surface of the playing field, since I see it very bright compared to the rest

then with the balls that you tell me should be solved ?

n3tz, surface is problematic, but not as much, I'd say 15% of the problem. On any cheap plastic surface you should be able to do pin control without any problem, if you have euro ball. Players are fine too, it's better if they have modern foot desing (they do in your case), but even square is fine. I'd say it will feel 3-4 times better. Tornado balls should be played on Tornado table :)

Thank you again, I'm ordering the balls you told me right now.
As soon as I can prove it, I will comment on how I was
