Hi, I have very little experience of foosball. i have bought an old one and am doing up with my teams colours. the set up manual describes putting a plastic washer between the rubber bumper on the rod and the side of table. this washer just hands loose and moves about as the rod is pushed in and out. Pictures i have seen on the internet suggest this is the correct configuration but it seems odd to me. a bit noisy and distracting. why is it needed, and can i glue it to the bumper, or just remove it altogether? thanks for any help.
