Shopping On a Budget
« on: February 20, 2018, 08:52:56 PM »
I've got a budget of about $100-$150 for a table. Not much I know.  So I'm searching used obviously.  Has anyone ever heard of Tournament Choice?  I found one that looks decent, but I can't find anything about the brand anywhere.  I'm also looking at an Eastpoint abs an Easton.  I'm assuming the Eastpoint would be the better option of those two?  If you can tell, I don't know much, but know it can be tough with my budget.  I'm not looking for anything crazy.  It's mostly going to be my little kids and I playing.  The three I'm looking at are below.

So I ended up getting the Tournament Choice table because the guy was by far the easiest to deal with and the table looked pretty nice.  I got it home and all set up and started playing.  I realized pretty quickly that the ball gets stuck against the sidewalls fairly easily.  The main playing surface meets the sidewalls with nothing else there.  Is there supposed to be a small white plastic strip that helps the ball roll away from the sidewalls?  If so, are those readily available for purchase?

This site has links to parts manufacturers.  Here is the link to a Tornado/Dynamo trim part

I am not sure it will work for your table though.  I probably should work but I have no idea whether it will or not.
