Topic: Are Rene Pierre Counterbalanced?

I've read conflicting things on websites, if Rene Pierre men are counterbalanced or not. Any advice appreciated! Understand these tables play slower/more control.

Want telescoping rods for kids safety, AND counterbalanced men, but understand that is hard to find.

The men tend to fall down if they are turned up during singles so I believe that means they are not counterweighted. The tables do play slower but that doesn't necessarily mean more control, just a different style of play. If you are concerned for safety you could always just find a Tornado table and buy these (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Foosball-Rod-Guard-Kit-Tornado-Table-Style-Foosball-Pro-Design-/262794438762) they work great.
