Thanks to all that made it out this weekend. We raised over $630.00 toward table sponsorship at the “Jimmy V” North Carolina Foosball Open. The Powerkick Team of Raleigh receives 2 Player Packages from Bonzini U.S.A. to be handed out as they wish prior to the NC Open. Special thanks to Jason and Jacob making the drive up from SC. I also want to commend the players for their adjustment and acceptance of the ITSF rules. We all still have a lot of work to break some traditional habits but I was encourages to hear some positive comments from our player base.

Thanks go out to HH, Michael Soluri, Jim Hess and John Lewis for assisting with this event. I was running on “empty” and truly appreciate your help with running the event and breakdown on Saturday night/ Sunday morning. Added note, Friday afternoon Michael Soluri and I were able to secure an additional $800.00 in table sponsorship from local businesses. We had an extremely good meeting with the Budweiser Distributor for the upcoming tournament and future events. We may also have a special speaking guest at our opening ceremonies. More to come later. I’ll forward an update on our sponsorship drive to John Lewis for posting at www.raleighfoosball.com.
