Title: I need some help
Post by: hoomanchu on June 12, 2007, 03:14:34 PM
I play every week in a DYP in here is Va. I want to go and play in some regional events. ie: va state (tornado). Do I need to get a card, or ranking? If so, how do I go about  doing so. We have about 15 players here, a few of us are better than the rest (pretty sure we would get smoked in these regional tournies) but I want to play anyway.

Also, do they have a rookie divisions? I am not sure, I have contacted people that run the tournies and I have gotten ZERO response. I have a tornado in my house and we play here in my house on Sunday night, and at a local bar on wed.  I want to take a few of the better players with me (again, we are good here, but we cant get any better until we face better players)

Any help would be appreiciated!

The Virginia Tournament in Richmond over Labor Day weekend would be a great one to go to.  There are rookie and Beginner catagories, you guys would be beginners (i am pretty sure of this).  No card or ranking type things required.

Also, there are tournaments during the week, if you want to make a bit of a drive.  Monday nights in Herndon and Tuesday nights in Crystal City.  Again, they are not really close by, but might be worth a try every once in a while.  Information on these tournaments can be found at www.vafoosball.com (http://www.vafoosball.com)

There is a flyer for the Richmond tournament to dawnload from the richmond website   www.richmondfoosball.com (http://www.richmondfoosball.com)

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask here, or send me an e-mail.
