Title: 999's 7.12.2008
Post by: dwillits on July 10, 2008, 11:18:13 PM
I am hoping that I can make it to the BYP at 999's this Saturday. I don't have a partner, and I am not good enough to merit any desire from other foosers. My question: Are there people that show up without partners in hopes that someone else will do the same?? i.e. Can I get a partner if I just show up??

Thank you!!

P.S. I guess that the worst case scenario is that I get to play foos after the tourney......better than no foos at all.

There are usually one or 2 players that arrive without partners.  If you arrive a little early (maybe 8:30 or so) we can probably find someone else who is partnerless (no guarantees though).  Looking forward to seeing you there.

Pat,

Thanks for replying. I am about to leave and since I didn't see any posts this morning when I checked this thread, I figured that it was a lost cause. I hope to be there, and with a little luck, I will make it in time to play in the tourney. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Thanks again Pat.

Thanks to all for the games. It is a lot of fun to see foos played at the level that the Maryland players have reached.

Thanks again!!

I will not be able to make it back down for the Classic. I really would enjoy coming down, but my wife and I are meeting most of my father's side of my family for a "family reunion". My apologies and once again, thanks to all for the games.
