Does anyone know if the black light foos men are molded with the new style feet or the older style feet?
Also, does anyone know if the white colored black light foosball can be tumbled and perform like the new 2.5 and 5 hour dark pink/red tornado balls?
Has anyone ever played on a Tornado black light table? Is it something you think the kids will enjoy?
Thanks.

Not sure but my guess would be old style men. Balls are also different than the 5 hour ones. Would definitely be fun for the kiddies though....

sounds like fun to me and i'm in my 50's.

I'd imagine that it'd only really have the right impact if you had one of the lighting kits (http://tornadofoosb.powweb.com/store/page15.html) for the table, and fitted it with fluorescent blacklight tubes. But if you did that, I'd also imagine it'd play like a dream. :D I've thought about doing this myself, but I can't quite justify dropping $330 to do it just yet.

I have one of those fooslights, which I absolutely love...so I'd of course have the same setup for the "kids" table.
I wish Jim or Charles would chime in to confirm whether the men were the newer or the older style men, which I'm sure they are the latter but I just want to know definitively. Thanks to everyone so far that has replied.

i have a bud light pool table light over my table. anybody know if they make those protective tubes for 35" flourescents?
-
They sell the tubes in the hardware store. But I have only ever seen 48" models. You could alway just buy the 48" ones and cut them to size.

I've got the old logo Miller light(with the chick sitting on the cresent moon) pool table light above mine, but it has 3 incandescent bulb sockets that I put daylight CFL's in.

good call pat, thanks. i'll either go with that or plexiglass n velcro tape if i get ambitious(doubtful)

home depot, i would guess or Lowes
most of those flurocents have the 48 inch (40w or 34w) 4 foot long bulbs ,so 48's work fine
for longer ones there are 60, 72 and 96 inch bulbs

Just in case someone was wondering, Jim & Debbie confirmed with me that the discontinued black light men are the old design...which pretty much confirms what everyone has already said.
