Hi would anyone have any parts for a 1940's sportlux foosball Table
I need a new pitch and some new feet to adjust the height
Based in the UK cluster rush
Would also be interested in anyone based in the UK who could restore the table?
Thanks

Simon
Yes, I have some pitchs and feets for 1940's sportlux foosball Table. PM me if you want them.

Do you know where to buy individual parts for this soccer table? I'd be happy if you could provide me with information.
Thank,
Nancy.

Rules Questions / Re: Dead Ball rule
« Last post by levisn1 on February 23, 2024, 06:20:56 AM »
Yes it is legal in ITSF rules.  Just look up a few matches on youtube.com  and you will see people that shoot a "pull" shot which is exactly what you describe.  That does not make you wrong just different rules.  Maybe explain how you play and alternate which rules you are playing by?  I would equate to boxing vs kick boxing...the playing environment is the same but a significant rules difference.

Thank You for your answer,
as we are going to have the annual tournament in the office, i'd like to approach the problem like this, once all participants are confirmed, i'd create a poll to vote on which style to play with.
Italian Style, ITSF with pull shoots and hooks, snakes shoot, stop and shoot and so on, so that at least during the tournament it's clear what is allowed and what not, what do you think?

Rules Questions / Dead Ball rule
« Last post by levisn1 on February 22, 2024, 09:30:22 AM »
In the office we have a foosball table Pro Champion by Garlando. Is it legal for somebody to control the ball and make it stop within the reach of one of his players in defense or in attack and then pause, and then all of the sudden drag the ball one side and shoot..this in the Italian foosball style is illegal, but i understand being in the office everyone wants to play with their rules and beliefs, but i'm wondering if this was an illegal even for ITSF rules.

I only found this about dead ball:
8.2 If the ball is declared dead between the goal and five-man rods, it shall be put back into play at the two-man rod nearest the spot of the dead ball.

Thank You

General Chat / Garlando top glass: thickness?
« Last post by Maxgarlando on February 19, 2024, 01:58:39 PM »
Hi,

I’m trying to get a new top glass cover made (not the playing field) for my older model Garlando coperto. I know it should be tempered glass.
What thickness should I get? I’ve heard 4mm (0.157 inch) somewhere but the recess is bigger, about 7mm.
Can someone confirm what the original is?

Kind Regards, Max

General Chat / Re: Newbie Ball Selection Question
« Last post by JimWaterman on February 08, 2024, 03:19:26 PM »
... Through trial and error, I've learned that my table needs a 1.5" (36mm) ball diameter.  When I purchased quality balls they are often smaller and cause a lot of dead spots on my table...

IMPORTANT NOTE about Dead Lines/Spots!!!
There are "dead lines" between every pair of rods.   If both men could strike the oversized ball... you have a "stalemate" or "impasse" and something has to give... be the men or players "wrists".  OUCH!

Given some time on the table.. you'll move the ball enough so that there is LESS time where the ball stops, and annoys folks.  The best tables all have "dead lines".  You'll get used to it!   If the ball dies in front of forward rod in in that goalies area.. the goalie get's the ball.  If it dies between midfield rods and forward rods.. the team last scored upon get's the server again from midfield!

Favorite Grippy but still good/faster rolling balls are ITSF B-Ball, Leonhart Pro Ball, Roberto Sport Roller-Ball... https://shop.foosball.com/foosballs.html

Cheers!
