mine was a push shot from forword use it at goalie now and then yet

like so many newbies, started with a push...gave that up when a pro who was teaching me showed me why a push wasn't a good tournament shot

Same here ...I use my backpin now coupled with a push though...But the push is easy to block by itself when you can't hit the angles you need. Plus in my opinion you can't see them either..not as well as you can from this side
