Topic: ts playing Field

were can i find a ts single goalie playing Field? every one i seem to run across is for three man only.

you my try thompson sporting goods they sell the black top but do'nt think that will work for a older t.s table but they do got other table tops

i tried there they are temporally out of stock.  mine is warped so the ball want to roll toward the center. i have it torn down and laid out on my hard wood floor with weight on it to see if it will come back to flat but my hopes are slim to none, and slim just died and none  left town.

Do these tops come glued to wood or just a sheet of what ever there made from I need a new brown top my ball rolls in circles all over the place

Hell Steve, thats just like the current Tornado tops.

It drives me crazy you do a pull shot and the ball rolls 2 in infront of the man then back again.

my playing Field was just a sheet of 1/4 mdf. so what i came up with for a fix was to glue a piece of 3/4" mdf to the back of it using glue meant to lay down wood flooring. i laid the playing Field face down on a drop cloth on my hard wood floor, spread out the glue and worked it out evenly as i could then i laid my pre cut piece of 3/4" mdf down on top of it, added some weight to pull the bow out of the top and then slid the 3/4" around some to make sure there were no high spots in the glue and that i had it lined up just the way i wanted. next i add as much weight as i could find around the house to make good and sure that every thing would be as flat as possible. i will let yo all know how it turned out latter this week when I'm  sure every thing has dried. I'm planing to put a coat or two of polyurethane on all exposed wood after i remove the weight to make good and sure that there will be no more warping.

Houston we have a problem.  What your doing is a good Idea, however you have now created an un-balanced board similar to the current Tornado playing surface.  I suggest you glue a 1/4" sheet on the opposite side to balance the board.  What happends is as the glue cures it draws towards the center, thus creating a concaved surface.  It may be that the board will not cup severely, but either way would you let me know how it turns out?
