todd and rico are the best team ever until someone can consistently beat them...it is going on 10 years and that hasn't happened yet - they have won 8 out of 10 Tornado Worlds including 5 in a row from 1998 to 2002...Todd is only 1 of 2 other players who have ever won back to back let alone 5 years running

they are still the best for now...can someone beat them at Worlds?  For sure, but lets not get confused about who the best team is...

The triple threat of me, myself and I.

"Me" and "myself" are bangin' the rods while "I" slides the points and does cheerleader duty...  8)

steve,

i took the context to be best team at this years worlds

the arguement about best back then and best now has been had maybe 100 different ways on nearly that many threads since I have been reading and posting for nearly 3 years

Fury has a super significant resume of winning big tournaments, surely one of the best pressure players and smartest players ever and he and Wiz were connected at the hip
I was lucky enough to see them play...Fury looked like a book worm and anything but dangerous but he was a ruthless blood seeking killer and had a great all around game where Wiz was definately a forward and was never known for his singles

who knows what would have happened if the bottom hadn't fallen out and the foosball world hadn't lost Wiz and subsequently, for all practical purposes, lost Doug

I got to see all the greats of the past and it really isn't possible to tell but I would stack Fred up against anyone...he would eat up the TS table so no advantage there, he is as good a goalie as he is a forward and the best singles player, by a long shot, I have ever seen

Todd is one of the top forwards and goalies of all time and started on TS so that would be no challenge for him either

both Todd and Fred have to be ranked at the top of a short list of most clutch players ever (Fury definately on that list) they have played together longer that F&W and despite difference in playing generations no team has ever won more

no player has been as dominant as Fred in every part of the game on every table made and now for 10 years straight and he shows no sign of slowing down

you choose but there is no doubt who the best team is in foosball TODAY
