Tornado Update Kit

Does anyone have pictures of the update kit? Or a link to any pictures?

Also, has anyone demoed a Tornado with the update kit installed at any tournaments?

Trying to decide if it is worth the effort to change all the men, handles, etc.

Will play on the new table this weekend. And if you know me, I will have up close and personal pics for all to see. Just hang in there.

My personal opinion, I would not worry about the handles. The change in handles will affect mostly only those who do not use wraps like bar players only. The shape will remain the same, so if you're a tournament player, you probably wrap the handles anyway. If you have the wooden handles I wouldn't worry about it. The new handles will affect play if you just want to play a pickup game without wraps. The plastic ones were terrible because they became slick only after a few minutes of play. The new ones are plastic but seem to be coated with a better material for a less slick grip.

You will want the new balls, they are awesome. The compound is 5% softer than the original. The texture seems to stay the same for quite awhile unlike the old ball which was great for about half a day then they became extremely slick. You will start seeing some incredible grabs with this ball, but still slick enough not to stub from your same release position.

The side strip will remain on the top of the surface. Until the adhesive question is solved with the strip beneath the surface, they will not put this change into effect.

As far as the men are concerned, I'll see this weekend. Chip passes are part my arsenal on the 5 man so I should be able to tell a difference if any. I'll ask the guys that shoot banks also if they can tell the difference.
