Anyone know what model Tornado Coin Op this is?

Just bought this Tornado Coin Op for $350  :), don't know what model this is.  Dark laminate,  3 piece bearings, .156 rods, old style men (counterbalanced).  Works great!  No chips or cracks.  Here are some pics:

Thanks,

Neil

I have one of those at work. It is called the Cherry Mahogany. It is a fast table. Yours looks in great shape. $350 that's a steal. Have fun with that table!!! Where are you located at?

Thanks Chaggy31, I found BBtuna's thread on table and read up on it.  I'm in LA (CA) and been looking for a Coin-op deal for a while.  Jumped on it fast.

Thanks again,

Neil

When I got mine it was about 4 years ago. I did some upgrades to the table, new handles, low profile bearings, bumpers and balls. I just did the clear side strips for better banking and discovered I  had the Merkel rods on my table. LOL! I had bought the table off ebay for $88.00 minus 10% coupon and $150.00 for shipping for a total of $225.00. The guy dicked me around for 2 months because it would have cost more than $150.00 to ship it. He was in the state where I live so I told him I don't care, I want the table, I will come and pick it up. It was beat up, lots of broken parts but the surface was flat and not warped and the goal areas were not chipped out. I put another $300.00 and blood and sweet to get it fixed and we have been playing on it for 4 years, every work day at least 10 games a day. If I only didn't have it set on free play I would have already made my money back! LOL!!!

that's a great story.  I scrutinized the play field and goal area.  Really no marks on the cabinet, men and rod's good.  But, I know I don't have Merkel's.  I thought Merkel's didn't come out until the Grey Marble talbles came out.  I'm really happy and my wife says it looks better than my old table.

Thanks,  Neil

If she really loved you she'd be telling you how much she prefers playing and practicing on the new table.

Unfortunately, my wife does not like the game and won't play.  That's cool, I don't want nothing to do with some of her hobbies either.
