It's on the 13th and looks like a lot of fun.  There's a BYP option for the beginner/amateur bracket.

I know it's a ways away but if you can make this tourney next year definitely go for it.  Not only were there great players but they also had prizes for everyone who played in the super dyp.  And don't feel intimidated either, there were some beginners and even girls there as well.  I ended up getting lucky on the prize thing and wound up with some big picture that cost way more than my $10 entry fee.  Here's what others had to say about the tourny:

And if you're ever in the Cities, they have weekly tournys at Primetime in Burnsville on Tuesdays and at Mortimer's in Minneapolis on Wednesdays.
