Join us each Thursday night at "Woody" tavern on Hwy 54 in Osage Beach Mo at Lake of the Ozarks.   7 pm.  there is some good, fun competition.  All cash payout based on number of entries.  It is an open partner draw doubles match.

Hey there, Bob, I'm a Columbia player that has come down and played a few times in the DYP, but I'm wondering if you guys would ever offer tournaments on another night?  I go to school full time and work nights, so I'm really curious if there are ever weekend tourneys?
If not, is there any chance some of the lake players would be interested in a weekend tourney in Columbia? (It would probably be on a few warriors, and the location is completely dependent on the Columbia group, but we could have a really great turnout).

Bob, Columbia Fooser,

I agree with Columbia fooser, you guys should have your tournament on another night. That might increase your chances of getting some KC people down there since our tournament is on thursday as well. And columbia fooser, shame on you for going down there when you know KC is better  ;D I kid, I kid. Anywho, I just made reservations to stay at Osage Beach Oct 8-11...will have to miss the thurs tourney but I might make an appearance at woody's that weekend.

Oh, by the way, Bob, a GREAT way to spread the word about your tournament there is to use netfoos! We use it here in KC and can't tell you how many times some new person walks in and found us on netfoos. Give it a try! It's easy to use once you get the hang of it. You can call me for help if you need it. Just create an account and mess around with it.

Funny enough, I might be moving to KC within a year or so, and am planning on becoming a regular if that's the case, haha. KCTrayn, is there any chance you guys hold a bigger tournament once a month (like a DYP, BYP and/or singles sort of thing)?  And, hopefully, not on a Thursday night?

I know that's probably too good to be true, but one can always hope, and I'm trying to figure in as many tournaments to my schedule as I can.  Unfortunately, it's not very easy between school, work, and no steady, local tournaments in Columbia, with Darby's house being the most consistent place for them to happen so far.

I'm going to be visiting at the end of Sept. How much is the tournament and how late does it usually run?  Are you playing on the new Tornado tables or some old ones?  Just curious...

It's $5 entry. There are (2) Gray Marble Coin-Ops that are maintained regularly by the local players. Start at 7 PM usually done by 10ish.
