How to Remove a Fireball Handle
« on: September 26, 2011, 08:15:14 PM »
I have a Fireball table and wanted to put Tornado handles on one side of the table. I have removed the roll pin and applied a good amount of force but have not gotten the handles off. Is there a trick to removing handles?
I would prefer not to ruin the handles as I may want to Fireball handles back on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's not an issue, after removing the pins, just get your extra split bearing, put it behind the handle, tighten the bearing and start hammering away, but use a mallet so you don't damage the rods... I wish I could show you this with a photo...email me I'll send you a photo...

I know this since even you remove pins from the handles, they're still hard to take off.

Thanks Foozul.
I got them off. Even with the pins removed they were hard to take off. I had not thought to use the extra split bearing and that did the trick.
