I need help with my Deutscher Meister
« on: July 11, 2012, 09:42:33 AM »
Hi everyone,

I need some help with my foosball table. I've had it for a while and I need to sell it. I'm moving and I need money. I know it's a Deutscher Meister made in West Germany and it's not coin operated. What year was it made? How do I polish the rods? What is it worth?

I listed it on Craig's List. Let me know if the asking price is absolutely ridiculous. http://ames.craigslist.org/tag/3138728764.html

I'll go out on a limb here...

I don't think the price is ridiculous per se, but if you want to move the table quickly, $500 is a little much. The main reason is that there isn't much of a market for anything other than a Tornado, so DMs will sell to collectors, or to someone feeling nostalgic, if the table is in good condition.

Well, compared to all the other Deutscher Meister tables I've seen, mine's in good shape. I do say in the ad that I'm not firm on the price. I wanted to sell it on Ebay, but they changed their payment policy and I can't take money orders or personal check any more. I'm closing my Ebay account because of their duesh baggery.
