Help Identify this Tornado model
« on: December 21, 2012, 10:45:32 PM »
So I spend some time researching tables to buy and I targeted a Tornado.  Looking for something for my teenagers to play with their friends and I wanted to play around a bit too.  Anyways, after watching craigslist for a couple weeks and missing out on quite a few and avoiding some I thought were over priced, tonight I bought one.  I was a bit under the gun with Christmas coming.

So I am trying to identify which model it is, mainly trying to make sure I didn't get totally screwed.

Description:
Grey marble cabinet
Valley emblem on lower right corner of case
1&1/2" thick cabinet walls
.156" thick hollow rods with wood handles
counterbalanced men
3 man goalie
split bearings with nut
legs without levelers that bolt straight up into case, not from the side
both end ball returns

I can't find any other logos like Cyclone or Storm etc.

It seems like it has a lot of the good features of the mid to high end home tables, except I found it strange that it didn't have leg levelers and only had end ball returns.

Sorry I couldn't figure out how to attach a picture.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely sounds like a home model.  Maybe the levelers are just missing but I doubt it.  At least you got the split bearings and counterbalanced men.

You'll get a better response with pictures.  Host the pic on picasa, flickr, facebook or some other site, then post the link.
