Second that. I never did til I got my coin ops and it makes a world of difference. I put some on a friends crappy little sporting good store table(all he can afford at the moment) and its like a whole different table.

Well I tried this:..

And I didn't notice a difference at all... So I guess I'll have to order something. Like should I be able to hear the rods sliding through the bearings? Because it has the sounds of like rubbing 2 pieces of paper together when u slide the rods.  Not sure if that's normal

When a table is brand new or like new or barely played the rods do make a swishing sound as they rub the bearings. It is possible that the bearings have been overtightened. Do you have a bearing wrench? Either way try backing off less than a quarter turn on the bearing and see if that makes a difference. Not to the point that the bearing is loose just slightly looser than it is now.

Nice to hear that you got a good table.  Do you guys have any weekly tournaments?  I was up there several years ago and couldn't find anything.  If you're ever down in the Grand Forks area they have a weekly one.  A few of us would probably make the trip up there for a weekend of foos sometime.

No tournaments here that I know of. In fact i might have the only tornado table around! lol. If i ever am planning to head down to the states ill try and see if anything is happening in Grand Forks. Im still new to the game and dont think I have the skill level yet to enter a tourny, however I am learning lots the more I play
