I don't play as much as I used to. (in Germany back in mid 70s, played ALL the time).
In either case, table only gets used on holidays any more it seems.
To make an even longer story longer.
I'm in the process of tuning up the table, and found one cracked man. I did a semi decent (I thought), search, on amazon and found a set of 4 replacement men. Close, but no cigar.
There are no markings on my table. I purchased it new in 1977. Old school. Yellow and Orange players. Phillips w/find threaded screw attaching with washer/nut behind.
The thing I'm finding is almost all the replacement men I've found have smooth kicking area. Mine are ribbed. And semi rounded, where the replacements are pretty much rectangular/straight ends.
Anyone know where I can find exact replicas, or am I better off just replacing ALL the little guys with a complete replacement set?
