Topic: Help with buying a used brown marble t-2000 table

Just to start off, I am a noob to this site and yes I have searched this topic on here and other sites extensively.  The only issue is that I haven't found anything that is somewhat current.  I have found a table that I believe is a 2000.  Not sure if it is a HM or TP 2000.  The person will not go any lower than $400.  I just wanted some more experienced help with this.  It seems BBTUNA seems to be one of the experts on here. One of BBTUNA's posts stated a price for a brown marble t-2000 was around $350-550. That post was some time ago.  I just wanted to see if that was a good price.  Thank you in advance.

I can't tell from the pictures - is it a split cabinet?

Thanks for help with pictures.  It is a split cabinet.  In the one of the pictures you can see part of the hinge on the left of the picture under one of the handles.  I'm not sure if it is a coin-op.

It seems to be in good condition from the pictures.  Some of the handles look a little dirty, not sure if from people actually playing or just touching the handles.  I'm just not sure about the price.  The table is in NJ.

If the table is in good shape, that's a good price. Check the rods for straightness - new rods are about $45 each so if any are bent, you may be able to negotiate a lower price. Any water damage, which usually appears as bulging laminate, walk away. The one goal looks good, make sure the other does, too. If the table is a far drive away it's reasonable to ask for a lot more pictures.
