Just got a t 2000. It is in pretty good condition but Missing one of the field trim pieces. It is the original top so the piece that is on it is white. Wanting to put the clear on both sides. Where can I find just the trim without having to buy the upgrade kit? And how much difference does it make? With or without trim?

Get it. The ball will "sticks" to the walls if you dont have it. The clear doesnt have the ball hop as much with clear when it hits the wall. Pull the rods out and clean it up good before install

Would you recommend getting the clear and taking off the other white piece... or getting another white strip.. if that is even an option?? For th life of me I can’t even find th pieces sold by themselves

remove white, install clear. Pull handles off rods and remove bearings and rods. Clean up old glue with 91% iso alcohol. While rods are out its a great time to vacuum inside corners of tables and clean entire field with the 91% iso.
