I played foosball in the 60s and 70s on coin-operated machines with glass tops, cork balls, and one-man goalies. These machines also had aggressive corner ramps (drop-in ramps?). The ramps seemed to allow the game to move quickly -- or required players to move quickly as opponents took advantage of the ramps. I know current models use a lower angled corner ramp -- but does anyone ever 'modify' their tables? What are the pros / cons?
