« on: January 06, 2007, 04:14:51 PM »
OK so yeah i'm new to this and everything, i mean i play but new to the forum thingy....
i have a question and it's been killing me.
my friend has this foosball table and he's missing a few guys on it and we like the wasy they look, but i can't find them ANYWHERE on line.

It's the guys that are third from the right.  the little guys with the hats and the bow ties.  i was wondering if ANYONE can help me in figuring out what kind of guys they are and maybe where i could purchase them.  I appreciate everything.  thank you again!

yeah it's an old old table... don't really know the vintage.  But Her late uncle gave it to her.  that's why she's so attached to it.
she does get a lot of comments on it.

By the way, the bow-tie men were made by Mirco Games in Scottsdale AZ. The foosball table was called Champion Soccer. They made a six player table called the Grand Champion. Any Mirco table was fun to play on because the men had a "scoop" on the side of them for lateral control. Lady players wore t-shirts with a bow tie man saying " Two Points are Better Than One!" on the front. These tables shoud be able to use about any man in a pinch, but coming up new Mirco men is probably going to take finding an old fooser named Steve Edgell in Phoenix. Steve and Bob Edgell manufactured Champion Soccer Tables in the 1970's. Definitely DO NOT SELL THAT TABLE as they are collecter's item's. Unless you sell it to me . I have a collection of old parts and tables dating back to the early days and would not resell it, but add it to the Fooseum.

I knew I had seen this request somewhere :)

http://cgi.ebay.com/Complete-Set-of-22-Foosball-Men-W-2-Balls-Vintage_W0QQitemZ180111118364QQihZ008QQcategoryZ36276QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Looks like they are selling the complete set if you are still looking for them, hopefully these are the ones you were talking about. I have no affiliation with the seller, was just browsing ebay this morning and saw them.
