Explanation of how BWB points are established.

First, there is an original ranking that Ahmad assigned you based on your level of play.

Second, there is a ranking generated based on how you do at BWB tournaments based on your overall winning percentage and the percentage of times you finish in the top three using the following table:

Winning      Top 3
Percentage   Ranking   Percentage   Ranking
62.5%   9   55.0%   9
57.5%   8   45.0%   8
52.5%   7   35.0%   7
47.5%   6   25.0%   6
42.5%   5   15.0%   5
Below 42.5%   4   Below 15.0%   4

So for example Monty was originally ranked as a 7 and has won 56% of his matches and finished in the top three 41% of the times.   So his BWB experience would also rank him as a 7.

The weight assigned to BWB experience is equal to the number of events you have played in divided by 25 if Ahmad has tagged you as a forward, or the number of events you have played in divided by 50 if Ahmad has tagged you as a goalie. For Monty this weight would be 17/50=34%  and his current rating .34x7+.66x7=7

Here is another example, Rooz was originally rated as a 4.  He has played in 22 events and won 60% of his matches and finished in the money 41% of the times. So his BWB experience would put him at 8 but his weighted rating would be .44x8+.56x4=6 so he is a 6 now.

And an example of a forward would be Lenny originally ranked as a 7.  He has played in 22 events won 52% of the matches and finished in the money 27% which would make his experience rating a 6 and his weighted ranking now is .88x6+.12x7=6

Basically, the BWB experience rating gets more weight as you play more often and after 25 events for forwards and 50 events for goalies the original rating will not matter any more.  For example Ahmad has played in more than 25 events and his original rating of 6 does not matter anymore.   His current rating of 7 is based on winning 55% of the matches and being in the money 38% of the times.

You can check your own winning percentage and top three finishes stats on the Netfoos website or ask Ahmad.
