Topic: getting a new table

So, i'm going to go pick up (hopefully, it's craigslist) a grey marble coin-op this weekend. I'm having some issues as to how i can transport it. Can I do any of the following easily without damaging the table:

- take off the legs
- take out the bars/handles

?

I'd like to be able to use my Rav4 to bring it home, but i may have to settle for renting a pickup truck or something. I've measured and i don't think it will fit into the rav4 with the handles (and definitely the legs) on.

All you needed a mini van or a mid size suv, truck.
since the coin-op table you can take the top part off and take the legs off, you can leave the bars/handles on, it will fit. just have someone help you. I have a Toyota highlander SUV and my wife help me move without any problem.

George is right...mini van, big SUV, or best a pick up truck...top comes off, don't want to take rods out but you could, and legs come off too...that is how it is shipped new

What year RAV4 do you have?  The '06 and newer RAV's are a little bigger than the 05' RAVs.  Also, let me know if you are successful in transporting it in your RAV.  I plan to transport a newer Tornado coin-op this coming July in a RAV4 ... or rent a truck.

As a reference point for you, I used my wife's Trailblazer EXT (longer version with third row) to pick up a used Storm II.  We had to pull out the 2 Row rods and 3 Row rods in order to fit it in (legs of course came off too).  The issue for us was width.  I am guessing if you plan to use a Rav4 you'll need to pull all the rods in order to get it to fit.

So, i measured up the rav4 and measured up the cyclone that i play on at work and i didn't feel that it would fit in my Rav4 so i borrowed my father's expedition and used that.

It was mainly a problem with width as the others posted, and i didn't want to have to take out the rods to make it fit. As it was with the expedition, the rods were a snug fit.

but the table looks great and i can't wait to break it in! i have to wait about 3 weeks (until i move to a new place) to set it up and play which is a bummer.
