OK, I have this inferior Whirlwind ll table that I bought for $225 just to get reacquainted with the game. And yes it plays different than the coin-ops as I found out last weekend when I finally got to play some good players on good tables. And yes I will buy a coin-op table when a good deal is found, but until then,,, Today I bought 2 1/4# rolls of pencil lead for fishing and wrapped them first around the heads and then the bars between the men and then around the head of the last man so the lead wrapped around the head of the men on each end of the bar and reverse wraps around the heads of the other men. I get the heavier feel and the balanced rod. Hey, it feels like the coin-op, maybe even heavier but not much. The next time I play it might be about the play being lighter than I'm used to and that might be just fine.
