just keep looking for different kinds of covers...there are tons of wraps and there is a very large variance between styles and brands...there are also tubs, rosin, gloves and combinations of these

I was going to ask about this, I saw a handle covering that stretched over it in one piece. Where would a person get these and what are they called?

One example of the stretchover grip is WhatAGrip - http://www.amazon.com/Unique-WhatAGrip-Thick-Cushion-Overgrip/dp/B000FGCA7U.  You can get them at places like WalMart or sporting goods stores.

certainly you should try all kinds of things but i found these to be too thick, not very tackie, and hard to put on and take off or worse too easy and then they slip off

I think wraps are more practical and you can find the thickness and tackiness you need/want

Also, just in case you do, if you use any type of lotion before you play, stop. Lotion tends to clog the pores which generates heat then perspiration. Try washing your hands before you play to get rid of body oils that may be present on hands and wrist.
