Topic: rule on hiting the wall

Hi ias in a tourney a couple of days ago and i was watching a match a singles game and when the person was doing a pull shot on the 3-bar he recoiled the rod he kept on hiting the wall about 3 or for 4 times a person next to me said thats a jarr whats the rule on hiting the wall after you finish?

It's at the ref's discretion and is rarely called.  Exceptions are if the recoil made a ball go in that might not have otherwise, or if it made the goalie lose control of the ball and drop it.

Only rule I know of on hitting the wall has to do with the 5-man.  Jarring the table, to me, means shaking the table ... like tilting a pinball game.
