If I were to recommend just one Tournament to attend, it would be hands down the Bart O. This is as close to having a Tournament in a Mardi Gras atmosphere as you will find. The night life on 6th street in Austin Texas is awesome. You have to bare witness to appreciate it. They close the street out front to traffic as party goers walk the street, so there is always something or someone interesting to look at.
Thanks for the props Ed, this is truly the most unique foos experience around. Old Meister, you do not need to practice your foos skills for the Bart O before you come, just practice on your party skills for this one.

Here are some quotes posted over on the foosballboard about Bart O.

Since the Barto and Worlds are so close together I might have to pick one or the other... and should I have to choose I'll be going to the Barto. I told Joe that if I had to pick one tournament a year that the Barto would be the one. Anyone who hasn't been is really missing out.

The Bart-O is the BEST small tournament held in the BEST foosball bar in the world! If you can't have fun here, then you're not here.
Worlds is a pretty good warmup for the Bart-O, in my opinion!

I do "Love" the Bart O!!! It`s one of the most unique Tourneys ever. It`s like going to a kick ass party & a foosball tournament breaks out, LOL...!!!

My whole historical concept of foosball is grassroots and the Bart represents this more than anything and the very reason players respond so well to this tournament. If you want to know what 70’s foosball felt like in Texas look no further than the Bart O’Hern memorial tournament. Tornado supporting the Bart in my eyes is the ultimate test if they value what has made the Tornado table so successful and so popular for some thirty years now.
