Thanks for the questions.
I have been amiss in returning to our forum.
The Multi-play table will be at the Fireball's US Open in Maryland, October 15th - 17th.
One table will be on display to play and kick the ball around using the different rods.
Dennis Jiang will be at this event and will not leave the booth unless he is called up in a match.
What? The guy that runs the manufacturing plant actually plays the game? Yep and he actually can play well!
Dennis really loves the game of Foosball. What you don't know is that he will be very easy to talk to when you meet him in Maryland or in Austin. Dennis is Chinese born and raised. He moved to Canada and lived there for many years. Dennis works in China and comes to Canada and the US on a regular bases.
Great questions; Please ask him yourself some of these questions.
I will give you what I know at this moment about the Multi-play table. (blank stare into space)
Their you have it.
I have expressed my full knowledge of the table that is in an experimental stage. It is way too early to know more...
To answer the other questions. Upgrades? I would not consider the rods an upgrade. The black rods are in a sense an upgrade because they do cost more and are heavier. With that being said, I know that many Players like the lighter weight rod and some of the Promoters around the country express interest in only the lighter, faster than lightning rod for the Coin Op model.
Coin op model will also be available for testing purpose only. We want to get the same great ideas that we received from the summer tour.
The Balls are still a big hang up. I have the prototype balls from China and they were exactly what I wanted. The formula was right on the money and then they added the coloring and the batch went to hell in a hand basket. Wrong coloring agent! 2000 balls went belly up.
We still don't have a grinding machine in place at the plant and that adds to the timing to get balls perfectly round... so we don't have balls. Neither does the Queen, but does that mean we still can't rule? Tornado is King and rules because they have balls. So I might use the kings balls, for now... I will make this final in a few days.
Thank you, Ken, OM and Comfort for the questions. Brad Laurine
