Foosball Table Suggestion - Metal Men / Cork Balls
« on: September 01, 2010, 09:59:02 PM »
Hello,

I remember back in the early 90s when I was in college I played on a foosball table that had metal men with cork balls.

When someone would score one would hear the metal "chink" sound when a ball was slammed into the goal.

I am trying to recreate that same experience.  Looking for a suggestion for a decent table with good corners, metal men and cork balls with a metal receiver goal.

Any ideas?  I prefer not purchase those tables with plastic men and hard plastic balls.

Thank you in advance.

Rich,

Visit www.bonziniusa.com

We have resurrected the metal man/ cork ball play you speak of.
We're player owned and operated. Most of our tournament events are held in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.

Please let me know if I can be of further service.

Bonzini! Bonzini! Bonzini!

You might have played on a Rene Pierre which was a copy. You'll love it, even with those squirly cork balls. Watch out for the haters though. Too many Tornado players lurking around here (LOL!) Get in touch with Alan. He'll hook you up.
