Dynamo bearings question
« on: January 26, 2009, 07:23:34 PM »
Hi all--first time poster here.

I'm the proud owner of a coin-op Dynamo table, and I'm looking to replace the bearings in the table as they have become rather worn and the poles seem to rattle in the bearings.  The problem is that I cannot seem to find the bearings for this particular table anywhere.  Could some of you foos experts take a look at my pics and see if you've ever heard or seen anything similar?  I have other pics from different angles if you need more.  Thanks in advance.

Does anyone have any info on this bearing?

Nemesis,

You seem to have a Dynamo "Striker" table.  As far as I know, Dynamo no longer supplies replacement parts for that table.

I'll see what else I can find out, and get back to you.

Thank you so much, Pat!  Any info that you have at all will be a huge help.  I've been trying to restore this table for a while now, but just can't seem to find the parts.  At least I know why now.

Parts will be HARD to find for that table.  I might see someone this weekend that MAY know about some old parts.  I'll ask him and let you know what I find.

Well, I talked to them, but they didn't seem to have the part. They seemed surprised that someone from SC would be calling them  :D.  I did, however, get a reply on another lead and found that the bearing is sold by the Dynamo-Valley company.  They're just really rare, and there are only a limited number remaining.  Thanks for the help!
