Ok, so valley-dynamo no longer makes the playfield for my older dynamo table, so I might just but a new table all together.  I have been looking at the t-3000 home and coin ops, and I'm wondering if there is any major differences other than the coin operation?  I have contacted charles about his tables and he has new t-3000 for $1600, and a  usegd 09 tournament coin op for $1195.  What is general consensus on this table and opinions on a new home version vs the used coin op?  Thanks in advance.

ok i read a good article by bbtuna about picking a table, so i was looking around on ebay and saw these 2 tables(the only 2 when searching for tornado coin op), http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tornado-Coin-Operated-Foosball-Table-Three-Goalies-/200629598031?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eb674b74f, and http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tornado-foosball-table-coin-op-/280837362023?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4163361167.  do you, or anyone happen to know which models of tornado coin ops these are and if they are priced high or low?  I also have my eye on the charles macintosh 09' t-3000 for $1195, but i want to ask him a bit more about it first, i'll call him tomorrow.  I want to know if it was a tournament played table or a bar table, and a few other minor things.  I also found this site as well, http://www.southernfoosball.com/html/used.htm, and was curious if anyone has dealt with him before?  I called and asked him about used t-3000 tournament used, and he said he has the one for $1,395.

The home model for the T-3000 has different legs. They are (modern look) round legs and are heavier then square the coin op legs.

I am not sure why they did this but we guessed it was to bring the weight up to compensate for the lack of coin mech guts.

Charles tables are tournament used, not bar used. I bought one about 6 years ago and have been satisfied ever since. I know many others on here have done the same. If you have the money, that is really the only way to go.

unfortunately the 2009 t-3000 he has is out of a bar, so i am going to pass on that one, but he said he has a tournament coming up on may 5th(cinco de mayo) and he will have 10 tournament tables available from that tournament.  He said he would sell them for $1595, is that a good deal deal for a tournament used t-3000 or should i hold off and keep searching around?  He did tell me there is no difference what so ever in the home vs coin op version, but when i asked about value he did concede that the coin op would likely be valued a couple hundred more because there might be more interested parties.
