Fireball in the USA
« on: March 23, 2012, 08:21:44 PM »
I keep checking the tournament schedule for Fireball and the only Fireball tournament in the US this year is Washington state, all the others are on the other side of the world in Asia and Australia! I'm practicing my ass off trying to regain some of my lost skills from decades ago and there's nowhere to play & compete on Fireball within thousands of miles from where I live in Oklahoma. I figure the Fireball people have a strategy of establishing Fireball dominance in Asia and Australia and then moving on to the USA, which probably makes sense in the long term, but in the mean time all us American players with Fireball tables are left hanging and waiting.

If Fireball is going to be the Official American table at the World Cup, they should have more than one tournament in America for us hardcore players, and new up-and-coming players, to compete in. I haven't played in a tournament in 20 years and my goal is to win the first one I play in after this long layoff. Tornado isn't good enough, it has to be Fireball. How bout it, Brad?

Agreed. Fireball needs to find a way to push their tables through to all 50 states. They need to get the tables to the vendors as well as home enthusiasts, and try to find a way to get at least one tournament a year in each state. All Tornado has to do is throw their name back in to the ITSF hat to change the fact. If Fireball wants to keep that, they need to take a bite out of the American market. Hope they can accomplish it.

Good call gentleman.

I don't make that decision.

Dennis Jiang makes that call.

I can only do so much, like drive to 18 states and 8,000 miles to figure out who can do what for Foosball, not just Fireball.
Foosball is in need of help. The promoters, operators and vendors are in need of some serious ass help. Most are lost right now...
I will continue the fight for the grassroots and small promotions in areas.

Thanks guys.  Brad

Brad, your customer service and dedication to foosball and the Fireball line are unsurpassed. I;m not trying to lay any blame or critisism on you, I'm just bellyaching a little cause I want to play in a Fireball tournament so badly and there are none on the horizon. Just pass the word along to Dennis that the Unwashed Foosball Masses are disgruntled and maybe he will consider more tournaments stateside.

You and Fireball are the best thing going for foosball right now. Keep up the good work and never never never never never give up!
