We have a couple tornado tables, but I'm only currently concerned about playfield replacement on the storm II table (I think that's the one). A couple years back beer got spilled in it and the surface started lifting at the goals. We basically stopped useing it for a few years due to having the other cheaper tornado table to play on, but I want to fix it so it can get back in duty at work.
I've flipped this table once before (2 years ago maybe?) and pulled a lot of screws but found that most every thing is glued together and removing the playfield wasn't as straight foward as I had planned. Where can I find instructions or help on how to remove the playfield so that I can either re-glue the surface onto the playfield, or replace the whole playfield outright?
The table looks like this one:
http://www.foosballtables.ca/img/p/dynamo-tornado-storm-ii-foosball-table.jpgAll I can say it's double 3/4" side rails up top and single 3/4" side rails down below, and bottom of the surface appears to be supported by glued and screwed 3/4" blocks along the sides. Every seam between ends sides and leg areas always seems to lead to minimal screws and plenty of glue and me scratching my head as to how and if that things is supposed to come apart at all.
I'm excellent craftsman and well prepared for wood work, and have worked with MDF glued and biscutted cabinetry for many years. I'm not afraid of getting in deeper, but I just don't want to tear things apart incorrectly trashing the table unneccessarily. I want to get pointed in the right direction if you can help me out.
Thanks in advance!
