Table ID and value

I know this question has been beaten to death, but I have done my research and I believe this is a t2000 cherry, which I get conflicting reviews on about play speed. I have never played one of these tables, but if it is in good shape is it worth $400?

Probably not worth $400 but depends on your location. I would offer $250 or so because it's not a coin-op and does not have any of the upgraded parts such as sidestrips, handles, men, etc

But it is a split top table, which I thought was exactly the same except for the coin slot?

as Snake Eyes says, its a blond...if he has a split cabinet then it is a T2000 which is better than a cyclone...Tor makes the coin op without the coin op mechanism...same table exactly in every way except when they build it, they leave the coin op out...the coin op weighs a few more pounds, the difference of course is the coin op/coin box added

goes in order oldest to newest...each of these had a coin and non coin split top sharing the same T2000 or T3000 model assignment...until now (see below)

T2000 Brown Marble
T2000 Blond
T2000 Cherry
T2000 Grey Marble Anniversary
T2000 Grey Marble
T2000 Fridge several iterations leading to the T3000
T3000 Fridge with all the changes which now the call the coin up the Platinum Tour Edition and the "home" model the T3000

Also, seller claims they bought the table new in 2006, which puts it in the grey marble dates I find everywhere.

That table is this one:

And yes, its a coin-op quality table without the coin-op mechanism. I noticed that the table is missing the leveling feet, which are easy to replace  but will set you back ~$50 so that can be a negotiating point. I'd offer $300 and settle for $350. These are very nice tables - I have one!

The leveling feet are in the picture, they're on the shelf to the left of the table.

Yes the quality is basically the same between the 2 tables, although the coin op is quite a bit heavier IIRC. This may slightly change the play characteristics. My point is that a coin-op has significantly better resale potential which in turn should command a higher price. If that were a coin op, $350-$400 may be worth it, but I would say $300 would be my limit since it costs another $225 or so to get it up to spec. Regardless it looks like a nice table...
