Best table a few hundred would buy?
« on: December 02, 2012, 10:17:31 AM »
Hi
Are there any decent tables out there that I could get used for $300 or so?  I want one for my kids for Christmas but I don't want complete crap and yet don't want to spend good cash as likely it will collect more dust than playing time in the end.  I looked at one that must have been very cheap as the men/rods would barley spin.  I don't think it had any bearings - are bearings pretty much a must for anything that would be enjoyable to play?  Are the ones that Costco sells any good?  I see these used a fair amount.

Brands that I have seen for sale in my price are:
Cooper like this one  http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-toys-games-Sturdy-Cooper-fooseball-table-W0QQAdIdZ436507894
Harvard like this  http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-toys-games-HARVARD-FOOSBALL-TABLE-W0QQAdIdZ436033242
and Easton like this http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-toys-games-easton-foosball-table-W0QQAdIdZ416052842

All crap? or anyone maybe half decent?
Thanks much for your time.
If you have a chance could you email me please - I am on the road today but if it works out I might try to pick one up tonight.
