T3000 coin-op vs non coin-op
« on: April 30, 2014, 11:06:47 PM »
Is there any real difference in build quality or features of the coin op vs the non coin op in the T3000. My work has a non coin op, and it is still a split cabinet unlike previous tournament tables. I can add 20 pounds to my table if I need, then I don't have a coin op mech that runs the risk of breaking toddler skulls or kneecaps. Is one really more durable than the other, or are they the exact same minus the coin mech?

Only difference is the addition of the coin-receiver mechanism and the internal ball path has some extra parts. Everything else is the same. You could add 20 lbs to the non-coin T3000 but it's not necessary; it's plenty heavy enough. They will play identically.

That is what I suspected. I just wanted to make sure that the product itself wasn't any less durable, or usable.
