Hi, new to the forum.
Got an older model Wilson foosball table that needs new bearings. Otherwise, the table is in great shape, is built like a tank, and getting a new table of similar quality would cost more than I have. From the best I can tell, the table holes are about 1-3/8" diameter and the sidewall thickness is nearly 1-1/2". Otherwise, these are standard 5/8" rods. Searching the web has not been fruitful as it seems almost all bearings are meant for 1" table holes and 1" sidewall thickness. I found some bearings on ebay that almost fit (literally like 1/16" too wide). So this is getting very distressing.
Am I just out of luck? Or, can replacement bearings be found for this table? I hate to think this table can't be spruced up. Thanks so much!
EDIT: On a side note, could I put bearings for 1" holes in the table? My thought is this wouldn't work because the bearings need the support of the surrounding wall. But since the bearing screws into the table via three small screws maybe it doesn't matter?
