Table comparison? Kick, Tornado, Shelti?
« on: December 03, 2020, 10:32:43 PM »
I'm looking for a table. Tornado are amazing, out of my price range.
Has anyone compared a Shelti Foos 200 or any of the Kick tables to the Tornado?
I'd pick up a used Tornado but haven't seen anything in more than a year in my area.

Any input is appreciated!

Why not consider a Warrior? They are probably #2 to Tornado in US. They were used in tourneys a few years ago. Ive seen youtube videos of tourneys on Warrior tables. I think with delivery and tax you be around $700-800.
I have minimal experience on Warrior but have played on them. Not as heavy or sturdy as a Tornado, rods are more flexible (smaller diameter), but plays well. It seemed fast, and it has split bearings, fast remove rods, pinned guys/handles, and rod guards (great for younger kids). If a used split-bearing design Tornado pops up jump on it. I have no experience on Shelti or kick but have read good things about Shelti and poor reviews on Kick.

Don't buy either of those. A used tornado will run circles around a Kick (whatever that is) and a Shelti. A warrior is cheaper but they are very well made IME.
