Tornado Coin op repair
« on: December 14, 2020, 12:08:38 AM »
I just purchased a used Tornado Coin op. It needs some work, specifically the coin op mechanism. I am trying to find which parts are needed to get this to work. The guy said a piece broke, so he opened the table each time and manually flipped the ball return (What a pain!).

Any input is greatly appreciated!

I am having trouble attaching an image. Here is a link to the image:

Also the playing field has a very small chip 2mm? Has anyone repaired this before? Super glue? Epoxy?

Take out ramp balls drop to and block track so they don't go into ball return.  You would have to reach in a little bit to grab ball but better than opening lid frequently.         I am not sure about chip in playfield.

Yes.  That's how most tables are set-up for tournaments.
The chip?  That's why many don't allow coin-toss onto their tables.

You are missing the piece that connects the coin mech to the ball return. No idea what it's called. I can get you a pic when I get home if that would help.

At www.tornadofoosball.com, it's under Buy Parts, Coin Mech, Parts.  You will also need 2 hex machine screws.  No clue about repairing the playing field.  As long as it has not reached the MDF underneath, I wouldn't worry about it unless effects the play. A bit of crazy glue would work just to keep it sealed.  Not sure if you have the coin box  key and the coin box.  In the pic, it's in the locked position.  The key # on mine is 90095 and the cabinet lock key is 90094.  The people who replied to you are the Best. Not me though, I am still learning from them.  Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!

You need the ball trap gate assembly, according to the PDF posted by ST.
