Your in the championship match, what shot would you most likely use and what shots would you use to support that shot?

One of the Backpin Rules
Favor No Hole

the money shot, is the right shot...hopefully you have set the person up so that match shot is also normally your best executed shot

I shoot a backpin so I would have it mounted for a backpin...what I shot would depend on what had been set up before that point...I am not past shooting quick but again how, when, and where would totally depend on what I had set up (assuming I am in a cycle to take advantage)...shot options depend also on what defense is being shown...I would be willing to shoot a push, pull, straight, kick, cut back or reverse either direction, pound fake, etc and short, med, or long count and it is somewhat likely I would call a time out before doing anything (depends on flow of game and if I am okay with the other team switching)

I would set up for a pull from the far left 3bar and surprise him with a change-up, and watch the ball trickle in.

I'd probably use a front pin pull cut as I'm working on a three shot sequence of a front pin pull, front pin pull cut and a front pin squirt kick with the far man. All are done with the same initial motion so the winning shot probably would be the one in the middle due to doubt being planted by the squirt kick.

My final shot would be to the push side with a front pin. ;D  Wait, no it would be a front pin to the pull side(long). :o  Oops, no it would be a euro sytle straight front pin. :P  Well, it may be time to mix a roller into the options. :-X  All joking aside, I would take what ever shot I felt confident with. ???  Maybe, I would use all my time looking at the defense and then use a time out. :-\  After the time out, I may decide to take whats left open or maybe I would decide to look over my left shoulder to my partner(doubles) or just look away(singles) and blast a roller just at random. 8)

The one that you know will win the game  :P

For me this is either a front pin pull to zone 2 or 3, or a snake (wherever the hole is - 1, 2, 3 or cutback to 1 or 3).

If I'm on defense, then it's probably a bank on the far wall from man 3/man 2 (away from you), or a bank from on the near wall from man 1 (towards you). Everyone is surprised when these go in - Bank Boom!

I agree w/bbtuna You need to set your opponet up for the right shot at the right time. I also shoot a backpin which by the way took many years to prefect as well as I shoot it now. I am able to shoot it straight deadbar(my favorite) pull, deadbar push(HARD to do) I love to brush it in firm open handed or palm. The split really opens the goal up!!! Once you have opened it up you pretty much have what you want!!!

Two words.
Straight!
Long!

You can pick the shot your self.  Basically I tell people to hit a corner when it counts.

I like that Ed. Lay it on the line when it counts. All or nothing.

I dont have any one side...but id have to say a snake shot....I like to sit on it for 14 seconds call a timeout and then sit on it again and wait for at least 7 or 8 then pick...wear em out....
